Exemption rules
47 CFR § 64.6301(a) exempts providers that do not directly originate calls onto the PSTN using their own network facilities. Our company relies entirely on our upstream carrier, RingLogix, for PSTN interconnection and STIR/SHAKEN authentication. We do not operate our own SIP interconnection with the public switched telephone network and therefore have no STIR/SHAKEN implementation obligation. RingLogix performs full STIR/SHAKEN attestation and verification for all calls we originate or terminate.
