- AW Technology Services, LLC is exempt from the STIR/SHAKEN implementation requirement pursuant to 47 CFR section 64.6301(f), which provides that voice service providers that do not have access to the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN authentication are not required to do so. AW Technology Services, LLC operates solely as a reseller and does not own, operate, or control any network switching, signaling, or call authentication infrastructure. AW Technology Services, LLC does not originate calls on network facilities it controls and does not have the technical ability to sign calls using STIR/SHAKEN Call authentication and STIR/SHAKEN compliance are performed by AW Technology Services, LLC's upstream voice service provider, Altigen Communications, Inc., and/or their own upstream voice service provider(s). AW Technology Services, LLC instead complies with the Commission's robocall mitigation requirements under 47 CFR sect. 64.6305(a) by maintaining reasonable Know Your Customer procedures, cooperating in traffic monitoring and traceback investigations, and taking appropriate action to prevent the origination of illegal robocalls.
