Hyperion information technology, LLC operates as a VoIP reseller and does not operate its own telecommunications network or STIR/SHAKEN authentication infrastructure. Pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6304 and § 64.6305, Hyperion information technology, LLC relies on its upstream voice service provider, SkySwitch, for STIR/SHAKEN implementation and call authentication. Hyperion information technology, LLC does not directly originate PSTN traffic and does not function as a gateway provider. All calls transmitted by Hyperion information technology, LLC are authenticated and handled by its upstream carrier (Skyswitch). Accordingly, Hyperion information technology, LLC is exempt from implementing STIR/SHAKEN and instead maintains a robocall mitigation program consistent with FCC requirements, including monitoring customer activity, investigating complaints, and coordinating with its upstream provider to mitigate illegal robocall activity.
