Tech Grips, LLC is a non-facilities-based reseller of interconnected VoIP services. Tech Grips manages customer PBX systems, endpoints, telephone-number assignments, and SIP account configurations, but does not own, lease, or control the wholesale IP voice-network elements, originating carrier platform, SPC token, or STI certificate used to originate calls onto the public switched telephone network and apply STIR/SHAKEN authentication. Tech Grips delivers outbound SIP traffic to its wholesale originating provider which originates the calls onto the public network. Tech Grips therefore lacks control over the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN.
