- AerVox, operated by Starfish USA LLC, is a voice service provider that has not implemented the STIR/SHAKEN authentication framework on any portion of its network and therefore files pursuant to the exemption applicable to providers that have not implemented STIR/SHAKEN. AerVox relies on underlying platform and carrier providers for transport and call delivery and does not independently authenticate calls using STIR/SHAKEN certificates. AerVox maintains a robocall mitigation program consistent with 47 CFR § 64.6305(a). The program includes customer identity verification, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, review of customer business purpose prior to activation, monitoring for suspicious traffic patterns, investigation of complaints, and immediate suspension or termination of customers engaged in illegal robocalling, caller ID spoofing, fraud, or other unlawful telecommunications activity. AerVox commits to respond fully and within 24 hours to all traceback requests from the Federal Communications Commission, law enforcement agencies, and the Industry Traceback Group. AerVox further commits to cooperate with such entities in investigating and stopping illegal robocall traffic that may originate through its services. AerVox has not had a prior Robocall Mitigation Database certification removed by Commission action and has not been prohibited from filing in the Robocall Mitigation Database.
