- Current Technology Solutions, LLC is filing as a Voice Service Provider without a STIR/SHAKEN implementation obligation pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6305(d)(2)(i), because it lacks control over the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN. Current Technology Solutions, LLC provides hosted VoIP services to end-user business customers through an upstream hosted voice platform/provider. Current Technology Solutions, LLC does not own or operate the switching infrastructure, SIP network infrastructure, SPC token, STI certificate, or STIR/SHAKEN attestation platform necessary to authenticate calls under 47 CFR § 64.6301. The underlying hosted voice platform/provider controls the network facilities and call authentication infrastructure used to provide PSTN connectivity. Current Technology Solutions, LLC does not make STIR/SHAKEN attestation decisions and does not sign calls using its own STI certificate. For that reason, Current Technology Solutions, LLC has not implemented STIR/SHAKEN on any portion of its own network. Current Technology Solutions, LLC maintains a robocall mitigation program, takes reasonable steps to avoid originating illegal robocall traffic, conducts customer due diligence, relies on its upstream hosted voice platform/provider for network-level call controls, and commits to respond fully within 24 hours to traceback requests from the Commission, law enforcement, and the industry traceback consortium.
