- Wire Safe Solutions operates exclusively as a non-facilities-based interconnected VoIP reseller. We do not own, operate, or maintain the underlying IP network infrastructure, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), or SIP signaling capabilities necessary to independently obtain an SPC token or digitally sign calls. Pursuant to FCC rules and guidance regarding providers that lack control over the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN, we are exempt from a direct implementation obligation. All of our outbound PSTN traffic is routed directly to our underlying facilities-based carrier, Voxtelesys. Voxtelesys possesses the necessary network infrastructure and actively implements STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication on our behalf before our traffic enters the public network.
