- G Almeida Teleinformatica qualifies for exemption under 47 CFR § 64.6304(f)(2), which states that foreign voice service providers that do not originate calls on the public switched telephone network (PSTN) in the United States are not required to implement the STIR/SHAKEN authentication framework. We are a Brazilian-based VoIP provider that delivers international traffic to the United States through upstream carriers. We do not have a physical network presence or switch originating calls within the U.S. PSTN. Therefore, the STIR/SHAKEN implementation requirement does not apply to us.
