- Our company is not currently capable of implementing STIR/SHAKEN because we do not have direct control over the network infrastructure necessary to perform STIR/SHAKEN authentication and attestation. Specifically, we rely on upstream voice service providers or aggregators to originate, sign, and transmit calls on our behalf. As such, we qualify under 47 CFR § 64.6304(a)(1), which exempts providers from the STIR/SHAKEN mandate for voice traffic that is not originated or transmitted entirely over IP-based networks under their control. We have, however, implemented a comprehensive Robocall Mitigation Program to monitor and control our voice traffic in compliance with FCC rules.
