- Pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6304(a), our company qualifies for exemption from direct STIR/SHAKEN implementation because we do not obtain numbering resources directly from the North American Numbering Plan Administrator (NANPA) or the Pooling Administrator, nor do we operate facilities-based interconnections to the PSTN. Instead, we provide service to business end-users as a reseller of VoIP services through our underlying carrier, Skyetel. All outbound traffic is signed and authenticated with STIR/SHAKEN by Skyetel at the network level. Our role is limited to providing PBX/hosted VoIP solutions, and we therefore fall under the exemption for providers that do not control numbering resources or have direct interconnection obligations.
