Megatel Netcom has partially implemented the STIR/SHAKEN framework using a certified vendor. Calls that originate and terminate in IP are authenticated and signed using STIR/SHAKEN standards. We continue to expand implementation across our network as technical capabilities allow.; Megatel is a Non-gateway intermediate provider that is exempt from STIR/SHAKEN under § 64.6302(d) because we do not originate or terminate calls. However, we still comply with robocall mitigation rules to prevent illegal call traffic from passing through our networks.
