- AOC Connect, LLC relies on the continuing extension from STIR-SHAKEN implementation provided under 47 CFR § 64.6304 (d) which exempts from STIR-SHAKEN Caller ID Authentication. AOC Connect does not own the network infrastructure to implement STIR-SHAKEN as it is a reseller. Therefore, AOC Connect does not have a STIR- SHAKEN implementation obligation.

- Description
- On August 25, 2025, the FCC removed AOC Connect from the Database pursuant to an FCC Enforcement Bureau order. AOC Connect failed to update its RMD filing with newly required information by the February 26, 2024, deadline, as was required by the Commission's rules. AOC Connect previously discovered that the email associated with our account was incorrect and that we had not been receiving RMD notifications. We were working with the RMD help desk to update our POC information. Upon notification of removal, AOC Connect worked quickly to update its company information and provide an updated RMD. The Enforcement Bureau provisionally reinstated AOC Connect’s filing on August 29, 2025. On September 22, 2025 AOC Connect was notified by the Enforcement Bureau that it identified the following deficiencies in the filing that must be corrected within 14 days. The Bureau stated there was insufficient information in the description of the recent removal action and the AOC Connect’s RMD plan does not provide a sufficiently detailed Know Your Customer (KYC) plan such as failing to indicate whether the Company uses a third-party vendor for analytics and identifying that vendor. AOC Connect submitted the updated RMD plan and removal action explanation on September 23, 2025.
