Description
Seawolf Technologies Inc. (“Seawolf”) was subject to an enforcement action by the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) Enforcement Bureau in connection with its Robocall Mitigation Database (“RMD”) certification. (1) The action was conducted by the FCC Enforcement Bureau. (2) The action commenced following FCC notices of deficiency issued on or about March 29, 2024, and subsequent proceedings, including a Show Cause Order released on December 10, 2024. (3) Seawolf’s RMD certification was removed pursuant to FCC Enforcement Bureau Orders released on August 6, 2025 and August 25, 2025. Seawolf has since taken corrective actions, including completing its STIR/SHAKEN implementation and updating its RMD certification and Robocall Mitigation Plan to reflect its current operations and compliance measures. Seawolf is currently provisionally reinstated in the RMD, and Commission staff has advised that it will review Seawolf’s updated filing to determine eligibility for full reinstatement. (4) The FCC’s findings related to deficiencies in Seawolf’s RMD certification, including failure to provide required information and updates to its robocall mitigation plan as required under 47 C.F.R. § 64.6305. There were no specific findings that Seawolf originated illegal robocalls. (5) Final determinations were issued by the FCC Enforcement Bureau through its Orders dated August 6, 2025 and August 25, 2025, resulting in removal of Seawolf’s RMD certification. Seawolf was subsequently provisionally reinstated and is seeking full reinstatement following completion of the corrective actions described above.
