Call.Net is a MVNO of ATT and reseller of services purchased from a wholesale provider. We do not have any direct control over the infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN. We rely on our hosted carrier ATT and their carrier partners to implement STIR/SHAKEN authentication for calls to assist in robocall mitigation.

Prior investigations / actions

Description
Call.Net, LLC was subject to an FCC Enforcement Bureau administrative action related to deficiencies in its Robocall Mitigation Database (“RMD”) certification filing requirements. Law Enforcement or Regulatory Agencies Involved Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”), including the Enforcement Bureau (“EB”) and Wireline Competition Bureau (“WCB”). Date Action or Investigation Commenced The matter originated following the FCC’s review of Robocall Mitigation Database filings after the February 26, 2024 filing update deadline established pursuant to FCC rules and related Public Notices. Call.Net subsequently became subject to the Enforcement Bureau proceeding referenced in DA 25-737 released August 25, 2025. Current Status of the Action or Investigation Call.Net has submitted revised and updated Robocall Mitigation Database filings and robocall mitigation plan information intended to address the FCC’s identified deficiencies. Call.Net respectfully requests reinstatement in the Robocall Mitigation Database and is cooperating fully with the FCC regarding compliance matters. Summary of Findings or Alleged Wrongdoing The FCC identified deficiencies in Call.Net’s RMD filing, including failure to timely update the Company’s robocall mitigation certification and mitigation plan with additional information required under revised FCC rules that became effective February 26, 2024. The action was administrative in nature and related to filing compliance requirements. Call.Net was not accused of intentionally originating illegal robocalls or spoofing activity in the FCC correspondence relating to this removal action. Final Determinations On August 25, 2025, the FCC Enforcement Bureau released DA 25-737 removing certain providers, including Call.Net, LLC, from the Robocall Mitigation Database due to unresolved filing deficiencies. Call.Net understands this removal prevents downstream providers from accepting traffic directly from the Company until reinstatement approval is granted. Call.Net has since updated its filings and mitigation plan and respectfully requests reinstatement. Additionally, we did not receive earlier FCC notifications regarding the filing update requirements and would have otherwise responded promptly and updated its filing within the applicable timeframe.
