S-Mobile LLC does not originate any outbound calls to the public switched telephone network. Our platform is used exclusively for inbound calls, such as direct inward dialing (DID) numbers, and supports only receiving calls from customers. Because we do not originate traffic, we are not considered a “voice service provider” as defined under 47 CFR § 64.6300(n) for purposes of STIR/SHAKEN compliance. Accordingly, we are exempt from STIR/SHAKEN implementation requirements and have registered in the Robocall Mitigation Database under this exemption.
