Exemption rules: Pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6301(a), the obligation to implement STIR/SHAKEN applies to voice service providers that have the capability to originate SIP calls directly onto the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Our company does not directly interconnect with or terminate calls onto the PSTN. All PSTN traffic is routed through upstream carrier partners that are themselves certified in the FCC’s Robocall Mitigation Database and have implemented STIR/SHAKEN. Accordingly, we are exempt from direct STIR/SHAKEN implementation obligations and have filed a robocall mitigation program description as required under 47 CFR § 64.6305.

Description: In Aug 2025 the FCC Enforcement Bureau issued Order DA 25-737 (File No. EB-TCD-25-000385901) removing ATCVoIP LLC (RMD0008194) from the Robocall Mitigation Database for a deficient filing, not for illegal robocalling. ATCVoIP filed a Petition for Consent to Refile on Aug 27 2025 in WC Docket No. 17-97; the matter is pending Bureau review. No findings of wrongdoing have been made.
