We are not implementing STIR/SHAKEN because we lack control over the network infrastructure necessary to deploy it, such as switches for voice service in the IP portion of the network, as outlined in the FCC’s Eighth Report and Order (adopted November 21, 2024). There is no network infrastructure between our provider, Bandwidth, and the customer's phone system. As a reseller, we rely on our upstream SIP trunk provider, Bandwidth, to sign calls with STIR/SHAKEN.
