Exemption rules: Six Degrees is a foreign voice provider and is not required to implement STIR SHAKEN, but Six Degrees is in the process of completing the required steps to register with the STI-PA and to obtain an SPC token, after which Six Degrees will obtain a certificate from an STI-CA. The certificate will then be activated and applied to all Six Degrees calls through a third party authentication provider, pursuant to Six Degrees’ agreement with Bandwidth.com for such service. Upon obtaining a certificate and authenticating all calls originating on its network, Six Degrees will promptly modify its certification in the RMD to certify its full compliance with the STIR SHAKEN requirements.
