- Sonic Systems Inc. files under Option 3 pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6301(a)(3), which permits providers that have not implemented the STIR/SHAKEN authentication framework on any portion of their networks to instead submit a robocall mitigation plan under 47 CFR § 64.6305(a). Sonic Systems Inc. does not directly interconnect with the public switched telephone network (PSTN). All outbound call traffic is routed exclusively through our underlying wholesale carrier, Bandwidth.com, which performs STIR/SHAKEN authentication on its own network. Because Sonic Systems does not originate calls directly into the PSTN and does not maintain its own STIR/SHAKEN certificate or signing infrastructure, we do not have a direct STIR/SHAKEN implementation obligation. Instead, Sonic Systems complies with 47 CFR § 64.6305(a) by maintaining a robust robocall mitigation program. This program includes comprehensive customer vetting, ongoing monitoring of call detail records and traffic patterns, validation of number usage rights, use of third-party call analytics, and a firm commitment to respond to all traceback requests within 24 hours. These measures constitute “reasonable steps” to avoid originating illegal robocalls as required by the Commission.

- We were removed from the RMD on 8/26/2025 due to invalid information in the database. The correct information was previously submitted via email on December 17th 2024, but that information was never updated in the online portal, which at that time we were not aware was a requirement. We understood emailing and physically mailing our updated RMD filling information was sufficient. We have now corrected the portal to match our plan and update all necessary areas.
