Exemption rules
We do not own or operate transmission facilities or network infrastructure capable of implementing STIR/SHAKEN authentication. We are a non-facilities-based provider and rely entirely on our underlying facilities-based carriers (Bandwidth and Telnyx) for call origination and transmission over the IP portions of the network. Pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 64.6305(d)(2), providers that lack the facilities necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN are exempt from the STIR/SHAKEN implementation requirement. Because we do not control switches, session border controllers, or other IP network elements necessary to perform caller ID authentication, we are exempt from direct implementation. All outbound calls are transmitted through underlying carriers that are responsible for STIR/SHAKEN authentication on the IP portions of the call path.
