- III.a.xvii: Robocall Mitigation Program Description Insider Telecom LLC has implemented a comprehensive robocall mitigation program to ensure compliance with FCC requirements. As a provider operating under alternative robocall mitigation measures, we adhere to the following practices: Customer Verification: All customers are long-standing brick-and-mortar businesses with whom we have direct, face-to-face relationships spanning 15–20 years. Each customer is required to provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to verify ownership of their advertised main business phone numbers. Caller ID Controls: Customers cannot modify outbound caller ID. Caller ID settings are hardcoded to display only the LOA-authorized main business numbers. Traffic Monitoring and Anomaly Detection: Regular analysis of call traffic is performed to identify patterns indicative of illegal robocalls (e.g., high short-duration call volumes or excessive spikes in traffic). Any anomalies are flagged, investigated, and addressed promptly. Upstream Provider Compliance: All outbound calls are routed through FCC-compliant providers (Bandwidth and Flowroute), which implement the STIR/SHAKEN framework for downstream caller ID authentication. Restricted Access to PBX and Phone Configurations: Customers have no access to the PBX or phone configurations, ensuring robust control over the network and preventing misuse. Insider Telecom LLC certifies that these measures effectively mitigate the origination of illegal robocalls on its network.
