Exemption rules: Our company is a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) that resells VoIP and PSTN telecommunications services. All of our SIP trunking (VoIP) services are provisioned through wholesale infrastructure provided by Bandwidth.com. We do not operate our own SIP trunks, softswitches, or IP transport equipment, nor do we have access to the underlying infrastructure required to implement STIR/SHAKEN protocols directly. As such, we qualify for the exception described in 47 CFR § 64.6304(a)(3), which applies to providers that do not have control over the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN. We rely on our upstream provider, Bandwidth.com, to implement STIR/SHAKEN on our behalf. Bandwidth.com has independently certified its full STIR/SHAKEN implementation in the Robocall Mitigation Database. Our robocall mitigation efforts consist of call analytics, traffic monitoring, complaint resolution procedures, and active vetting of downstream customers to prevent misuse of our services.
