- The Second Caller ID Authentication Report and Order, 36 FCC Rcd 1859, 1868, para. 19 (2020) ("...voice service providers which lack control over the network infrastructure necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN are not subject to our implementation requirements."). Mid-States Services offers its customers Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services as a reseller of white-labeled services offered by Momentum Telecom Inc. (“Momentum”). Mid-States Services does not control the softswitch, number porting or call trunking for the associated calls. Accordingly, Mid-States Services does not have the facilities necessary to implement STIR/SHAKEN.
