Exemption rules: Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (Operating Company Number 0554) is a small/rural carrier eligible for the continuing extension of the STIR SHAKEN implementation deadline as a small voice service providers (§ 64.6304 (a)(2) that has non-IP portions within its network § 64.6304(d). Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative, Inc. provides voice service to fewer than 100,000 voice subscribers lines and has customers served on the non-IP portions of Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative’s network which relies on technology that cannot initiate, maintain, carry, process, and terminate SIP calls. Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative also has IP within its network. Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative has registered with the STI-PA and is using its certificate to sign originating IP calls. To meet the non-IP network criteria for the continuing STIR SHAKEN extension (§ 64.6303 (a)(2)), Bledsoe Telephone Company is a member of NTCA.
