- PS Lightwave LLC is not exempt from compliance with the STIR/SHAKEN requirements under 47 CFR § 64.6301. PS Lightwave LLC has implemented STIR/SHAKEN authentication on the IP portions of its network where technically feasible. A portion of calls originated by PS Lightwave LLC are routed over legacy non-IP interconnections (SS7 tandem routing for local traffic), which do not support STIR/SHAKEN authentication. Pursuant to 47 CFR § 64.6301 and § 64.6305, STIR/SHAKEN is implemented to the extent technically feasible, and calls originated over non-IP portions of the network are subject to PS Lightwave LLC’s robocall mitigation program.
