- We leverage the STIR/SHAKEN implementation and functionality of our carrier partners. Only STIR/SHAKEN compliant carriers are used by Vantage; Bandwidth, Telnyx, Lumen, and Verizon. Our platform also authenticates caller identification information, as well as the device/application used to initiate a call, for all SIP calls we originate and exchange with other voice service providers. In addition, we have implemented several measures (document attached) in support of a reasonable robocall mitigation plan in an effort to avoid originating illegal robocall traffic. We are currently working on two major initiatives in order to overcome technology constraints currently posed by our platform; 1) we currently operate a platform which utilizes Asterisk version 16.3. As such we plan to upgrade our Asterisk platform components to version 20.X, which supports STIR/SHAKEN. 2) We are in discussion with Transnexus to implement our own STRI/SHAKEN mechanism.
